Thank-you for your interest in the
2009 Millcreek ‘Summer Sizzler’ Invitational Baseball Tournaments.
This will be our seventh year hosting
“The Sizzler”, with
tournaments being held on the following weekends:
14U tournament to be held July 31st thru August 2nd
10U & 11U tournaments to be held on August 7th thru 9th
12U tournament to be held on August 14th thru 16th
If you were a part of our tournament in previous years, you know first
hand the effort put forth by our tournament staff and volunteers to make
it a most memorable, top-rate event. From the 4-field baseball complex
with concession stand, to the introduction of teams with game announcers
at each field, the tournament takes on a championship atmosphere for
players and fans alike. A combined 39 teams participated in the
tournaments last year that included travel league champions, league
All-Star district and sectional champions and tournament team champions.
Our unique location attracts teams from a tri-state area including
Pittsburgh, State College, Greenville & Washington (Pa), Cleveland,
Youngstown and Ashtabula (Oh), Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Canandaigua
(NY), and of course Millcreek and the Erie County area. The past three
years even saw us attract a Maryland based team as the talented
Frederick All-Stars made the journey north and won the 12U championship
in 2008.
With each
12U, 11U & 10U team being
guaranteed 4-games at the low entry fee of
$300 ($275 for 10U),
it is by far the best bargain on the tournament circuit as
witnessed by it's yearly growth in popularity. 14U teams are guaranteed
3-games with an entry fee of $400 and play on a regulation size field.
The unique format is sure to please teams of all kinds.
