Millcreek Riptide Travel Baseball is now in its seventh year.  The Riptide organization was formed to allow our players that want to enhance and grow their game beyond community rec ball the opportunity to do so.  

Riptide is unique.  At the MYAA, we believe in maintaining the integrity of community baseball.  In order to play in Riptide, players must also be committed to playing rec ball.  We believe in the value and benefits of travel baseball, however we don't believe in the way travel baseball often destroys community programs.  It is important that children that want to do more, still have the opportunity to play baseball with their friends, neighbors, and classmates.  We design the schedules so that they can do both.  

Tryouts for Riptide typically take place in August this year.  We currently have teams in 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, and 16U.  After the teams are selected, they practice weekly indoors throughout the winter, fine-tuning their skills.  Teams will participate in 5-7 tournaments on average every year which are all within 150 miles of Erie.
