NFL - MYAA FLAG Football
The MYAA is an NFL FLAG FOOTBALL LICENSED program for all players within Erie County. We have three grade divisions…. Rising grades K-2 ; 3-5 ; 6-8 and all are co-ed.
ALSO A NEW AND SEPERATE ALL GIRLS DIVISION FOR RISING GRADES 3-5
We are the largest NFL FLAG Football sanctioned program in Erie County. Every player makes the team.
REGISTRATION opens May 1st . Register at www.myaasports.com. Please register as early as possible to avoid being shut out. We will take late registrations only to balance rosters.
SEASON begins in late July and our Opening Game Day is in Mid-August. Our season is 7-8 games (depending on grade) with multiple practices per week. Our season ends with our Super Bowl playoffs for our 3-5 grade and 6-8 grade divisions. Teams play 5 on 5 or 6 on 6 so everyone gets plenty of game time.
PRACTICES & GAMES are played at our MYAA/ Henry Fish Sports Complex on West 15th street. Games are played every Saturday and typically last about one hour.
UNIFORMS are officially licensed NFL game jerseys and the players get to keep their jersey and flags. No other equipment is needed.
REFEREES follow the NFL FLAG rules and we typically use PIAA officials. We use 2-3 referees per game.
REGISTRATION COST is only $90.00 ($85.00 for each additional child) for the season and there are no additional fundraisers. We do have an accumulative 50/50 each week that helps defray costs.
COACHES will be needed in all divisions. We supply the rules, play book and all other needed supplies. Coaches please register early so we can determine the number of teams.
MILLCREEK RIPTIDE YOUTH TACKLE FOOTBALL
Late Summer/Fall
The MYAA provides competitive youth tackle football for grades 3-4 and 5-6 and we play in the Millcreek Riptide Football program. We are part of the Erie County Youth Tackle Football League. Registration is for MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP residents and players who attend a school in Millcreek Township only.
REGISTRATION opens May 1st . Register at www.myaasports.com. There are a limited number of registrations available in each division, so please register early. Late registrations will only be accepted to balance rosters.
SEASON begins the in Mid-July with heat conditioning followed by regular practices the following week. Our season is scheduled for 8 games with multiple practices per week. Our season ends in early October.
PRACTICES are at our MYAA /Henry Fish Sports Complex on West 15th street…typically 3-4 times per week in the evenings.
GAMES are played on Saturdays for 5-6th grade typically at 1:00 or 3:00pm and Sundays at 11:00 for 3-4th grade at various fields through Erie County or on our home fields in Millcreek Township. Opening games are scheduled for August 22rd & 23rdth. Travel is minimal and within Erie County.
EQUIPMENT & UNIFORMS are provided by Millcreek Riptide that include game and practice jerseys, helmets, shoulder pads, guardian caps and pants. Game jerseys are custom ordered with the player’s name on the back and you keep the jersey. Players will need to supply cleats, mouth piece and a chin strap.
BASELINE CONCUSSION TESTING is provided for all player 10 year and older by UPMC Sports Medicine at no charge.
COST is $190.00 ( $170 for each additional family member). Players keep their personalized custom game jersey.
COACHES and chain gang volunteers will be needed.
